BIOGRAPHY

Welcome to Michael Sydoryk Fine Art.
Michael is a self-taught painter from Alberta, known for his bold, immersive portrayals of North American wildlife and culture. His large-scale acrylic works capture the raw spirit of the animals and stories that capture North American life painted with emotion, intensity, and purpose.

At the heart of WildForm Art is a unique visual language:
• Acrylic paint, layered and blended with oil-like richness
• Large-scale canvases, built to immerse the viewer
• Bold, intuitive brushwork that pushes contrast and color
• A deep emotional connection to each subject, asking: What does this story make you feel?
Michael’s paintings are not just visual studies—they are personal, dynamic encounters with life in North America. Each piece aims to evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and build a connection between the viewer and the subject matter living in a world that exists within us all.

Michael exhibits widely across Western North America and is a regular feature at the Calgary Stampede Western Art Show, where he’s exhibited for nine consecutive years. His art has been shown in notable galleries including The Avens Gallery in Canmore AB, Dick Idol Signature Galleries in Whitefish MO, Cassen’s Fine Art In Hamilton MO and Sorrel Sky Gallery in Durango CO and Santa Fe NM.
